There is a clear, tried and tested path to getting the very best garden designed and built as you possibly can and this is where I come in. I can help you at every stage of your garden renovation. Its up to you, how much you need me, but generally people employ me in stages - so it makes sure you are loving what I produce, that we are getting on really well, our visions are aligned and you are getting real value for money. The stages are usually split up as follows:
STAGE A:
- Initial Consultation: We have a conversation about what you need and how I can help you and if we want to work together.
- I come to your garden and get a true sense of what you want, what your garden needs, your timeframes, your budget etc.
STAGE B: Outline proposal/ Scheme Design
- After a few more site visits to get a survey done, really sit in the space, understand it, I produce an over all plan of what the garden will become. With this plan you will also receive two 3D visuals to help you understand the space.
STAGE C: Detailed Design
- At this stage the over all plan has been approved by you and I set about giving you construction drawings that will eventually be sent on to your landscapers
STAGE D: Planting Details and Schedule.
- This is what plants will go where with detailed lists for suppliers of quantities and exact specifications of pot sizes, tree heights etc
STAGE E: Tender Documentations:
- This includes all construction drawings, setting out plans, general arrangement plans and landscaping material specifications. Everything you need to take the garden design out to tender and get it built!
STAGE F: Operations and Contract Admin
- This is managing the build project and getting it built to exactly the specification of the design. It can include all project management, planning , even furniture buying if this is what you need.
I also offer consultations, garden design packages, or design-only services for people who need help planning their outdoor space but want to execute the project themselves.
